Tickets for the tour go on sale Monday, Dec. 8.
According to director John Carney, the film, titled ‘Sing Street,’ will be set in the Eighties. “Obviously U2 were extremely prolific then, so they’ll bring that, and they’ve just been great sounding boards,” he explained.
The album’s lyrics are said to focus on the “collision between hard-earned wisdom and youthful hunger.”
