The track, released today (July 29) as a promotional single, continues the band recent penchant for mid-tempo, slow-burning tunes, somewhat in the vein of “Maps.”

For the “Maps” music video, Maroon 5 tell us a story in reverse. Interestingly, it’s the story of a cheating cad as played by Adam Levine.

Maroon 5 have mostly abandoned the slightly funkier sound on which they originally made their name for a more straightforward pop sheen, a transformation that continues with “Maps,” the first single from their upcoming album, V.
