We had Stacy Fawcett and Joe Perry’s son, Aaron, in to talk today’s special!
Happy Foodie Friday!!
Oh Happy Days!!! We are going to “Rock Your World” today on “Zazza Mornings”! Aerosmith is in town and who knew that Joe Perry is a foodie???? I do :) Today we have a special guest in studio with us, Aaron Hirsch-Perry who will be talking about the fun loving, foodie side of Joe Perry.
Never in a million years would I think that our paths cross, but when it comes to food, anything is possible. When I first heard of these “Rock Your World” products because of their names “Bone Yard Brew” & “Mango Peach Tango”, I was instantly wanting to try. What does something called “Bone Yard Brew” taste like?? and what does a “Mango Peach Tango” taste like? UHM AH-MAZING!! You know when I love something I want to tell everyone
The coolest part about the sauces??? Let me tell you that Joe Perry is so much more than his music! He is talented in the kitchen…he created and developed this line of products with a heart for all natural, no preservatives products in mind. I was able to learn more about these products from Joe and to listen to him speak about food. OMG!!!!!! This guy knows what he is talking about! The response to the line has been truly remarkable. The products are sold all over the world including, The Hard Rock Café, Whole Foods Market and other nationals retailers all over North America.
Make sure to watch Joe and I on the 4 o’clock news today!! We will take a private tour of the bus and see what is in his refrigerator!! Then we go inside to cook up some delicious barbecue! You don’t wanna miss this.

Mango Peach Tango Salsa Ranchera (recipe above)
Cheddar cheese, shredded
Ground pepper and Kosher salt
Cut the steak into strips about 1/4″ x 1/4″ and a couple inches long. Season with the salt and pepper. Over medium heat, sautée the steak in just a little melted butter until it’s slightly browned. Remove the steak from the heat. Quickly warm each tortilla. Build burritos in the warm tortillas using the steak, guacamole and lettuce. Close each burrito and top with sour cream, some of the salsa and shredded cheddar cheese.
