BLOG: The Night Before Phantom Of The Opera!
Let me start by saying, Thank you SO much for voting to put me on stage in Phantom of the Opera. Since the first time I saw the show in late 2010 I have loved the pageantry, the music, and the larger than life production of this iconic show.
I saw the original production on stage at PlayhouseSquare in Cleveland, then thanks to my friend Silvio, again in the Orchestra pit!
I followed the North American Tour to Pittsburgh and saw it again. Then, in late November 2012 I finally got to see Phantom in it’s Broadway home…the Majestic Theatre in New York City!
Cameron Mackintosh re-worked the show and took it back on the road and Phantom is bigger, and more exciting than ever! I have seen the new production three times since it opened at the Winspear Opera House on August 6th, and tomorrow night I have the honor of appearing on stage in two scenes! If you know the show, look for me playing a French Aristocrat in an opera box during Hannibal and Il Muto.
I will be posting pics from backstage tomorrow night, and am excited to share my adventure with you on video next week! Thanks again for voting to make one of my bucket list items come true, and I’ll see you tomorrow night at Phantom of the Opera!
It’s not to late to buy tickets, you can grab those at ATTPAC.org/Phantom.
