David Benioff and Dan Weiss, show runners for the HBO smash hit ‘Game Of Thrones’, say that this Sunday’s season 4 finale could be the best episode of the season yet.

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Benioff and Wiess said in a statement that ‘The Children’ is possibly the “finest hour” in ‘Game Of Thrones’ history.

“The performances from our cast, the direction from Alex Graves, the VFX work, the new [music] cues from Ramin Djawadi – all of it came together in perhaps the finest hour we’ve produced. We’re immensely proud of ‘The Children’. And a little intimidated by the episode, because now we have to get back to the business of season five and figure out a way to top it,” the statement said.

The season finale will be 66 minutes long, which is the longest episode of the show to date, and it is expected to focus on Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), and Jon Snow (Kit Harrignton).
