The state of Florida is rejoicing thanks to Harry Potter?
According to Yahoo.com, Florida’s economy is on the rise in part to the Harry Potter Theme Park at Universal Studios.
Leisure and hospitality jobs are up 16 percent around the state, which equates to almost 150 thousand jobs, since the Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened in 2010, making it near double the normal rate of growth.
Universal alone is looking to add 3,500 local jobs this year, according to John Sprouls, chief administrative officer of Universal Parks and Resorts Orlando.
