15-year-old Nicole Wilson was beside herself with excitement when she found out that she’d be going to see her favorite band One Direction. Unfortunately, Nicole passed away this Saturday from complications arising from Type 1 Diabetes.

Her big sister Kelly decided to honor Nicole’s memory by starting the #SingForNicole on Twitter, a request for the guys in One Direction to dedicate Nicole’s favorite song, “Story of My Life,” in her memory when they perform at AT&T Stadium in August. She tweeted it on Monday, and it instantly went viral.

The tweet has gone viral with over 4,000 retweets. Local media has picked up the story, and it’s even been posted to Buzzfeed’s Community board.

We chatted with Nicole’s sister and father, Kelly and Chris, this morning.
