Vin Diesel has been front and center ever since the tragic death of ‘Fast & Furious’ co-star, Paul Walker.
We heard the story of Diesel rushing to the Walker family following the accident that left their son dead. Diesel was away at the time, taking a break from filming ‘Fast 7’, when he got word of what had happened.
“When I heard, I immediately flew back to California, and went directly from the plane to his mother’s house,” the 46-year-old actor wrote on his Facebook page on Dec. 6. “I thought they needed my strength, but realized when I got there and broke down before his family, that it was I who needed theirs.”
“His mother hugged me and said I am so sorry…I said sorry? You’re the mother who lost a son?” he continued. “She said yes, but you lost your other half.”
Two days after the accident, Diesel showed up to the scene and spoke to fans about Paul; even calling him his “brother”, over a sheriff’s megaphone.
Today, Diesel posted this photo with Paul Walker’s brothers, who are helping finish their late brother’s scenes.
‘Fast & Furious 7’ is slated for April 2015.
