Celebrities Changing The Way Divorce Is Done
Divorce used to be a cut-and-dry, ripping apart of two hearts. Now, there are divorce parties and “conscious uncoupling.”
Andrew Dice Clay filed papers last month to end his third marriage of 4 years. The Brooklyn-born comedian recently told People, “The word ‘marriage’ was putting a pressure on our relationship and since we filed, we’ve been more in love and have had more respect for each other than ever before. We celebrated the divorce at Craig’s in (West) Hollywood.”
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s “conscious uncoupling” was confusing enough, but the couple were recently spotted on vacation in the Bahama’s on a “Break-Up Moon”. The vacation is a part of the divorce process they are going through, according to People.
