Last night, the American Country Music awards were last night, hosted by Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton. The awards show highlighting and celebrating the best of country music had some pretty big moments.
For starters, The Band Perry’s epic performance of “Chainsaw” kicked off the show by showering the audience in confetti.
But the tidbit of news that has DFW excited was the announcement that the 50th anniversary ACMs will be held at AT&T Stadium. Jerry Jones himself was in the audience for the announcement.
Blake Shelton and Luke Shelton didn’t miss a beat when they noted “there’s never been an awards show at AT&T Stadium. There’s never been a playoff game either.”
USA Today has the full scoop on the ACMs coming to North Texas next year.
