Taking a college basketball team to the Final Four can be pretty lucrative for the coaches. Check out the coaches’ salaries:

  • UCONN’s Kevin Ollie: 1.25 million a year
  • Florida’s Billy Donovan: 3.9 million a year
  • Kentucky’s John Calipari: 5.5 million a year
  • Wisconsin’s Bo Ryan: 2.29 million a year

The Boston Red Sox visited the White House as a result of winning the World Series last year, and David Ortiz decided to take a selfie with President Obama that went viral! What also spread was the fact that he has a deal with Samsung (remember the Ellen selfie with a Samsung at the Oscars!). The White House was not thrilled and confirmed the President did not know about the Ortiz/Samsung connection when he posed for the selfie. – CBS Boston
