Wing Of Freedom Tour Brings Historic Planes To The Frontiers of Flight Museum

Take an adventure in historic aviation with the Wing Of Freedom Tour that lands tomorrow at the Frontiers of Flight Museum next to Love Field.

From tomorrow, March 19th through this Sunday, March 23rd, the whole family can check out fully-restored WWII bombers and fighters. Climb all over them, inside and out, to get a feel for the aircraft and the history riding on their wings. You can also take a ride in a Huey helicopter or fly in one of the bombers.

The exhibit opens Wednesday, March 19th from 2PM-4:30PM and will be available March 20th-23rd from 10AM-4:30PM. Tour admission is $12 for adults and $7 for kids 12 and under. 30-minute bomber flights are $450, flight training sessions in the P-51 Mustang fighter plane are $2,200 for 30 minutes and $3,200 for 60 minutes. Flights in the Huey helicopter are $100 for the front seat and $80 to ride in the cabin. The Frontiers of Flight Museum is located at 6911 Lemmon Avenue in Dallas.
