Stop Trying To Scare Tony With Australia Stories
Tony has been looking forward to this trip for months. He saved up miles for ages to book the 16-hour flight. Now, it’s finally here, and on Thursday, Tony leaves for a week in Australia.
The problem is, now people, family, and friends keep sending him scary stories about everything that can kill you in Australia. Tony thinks this needs to stop.
Among the stuff people keep sending him:
- A Buzzfeed article on the huge, scary, and venomous spiders that live in Australia.
- A recent story of a surfing crocodile that shut down a beach, as reported by Time.com.
- This week’s video of a massive snake killing and swallowing a crocodile, as reported by the Telegraph.
Those don’t freak him out as much as the tiny, invisible jellyfish that kill people. The Irukandji jellyfish are so small that they can’t be seen, but they can shoot their stingers at people. Just reading the Wikipedia page is enough to make Tony take extreme precautions.
