Harold Ramis who both wrote and starred in the first two ‘Ghostbusters’ films passed away Monday at the age of 69.
You would think that might put a stop to the third film in the ‘Ghostbusters’ series that is currently in production with Ramis involvement.
The Hollywood Reporter however is reporting that the project is still moving forward. One project insider says, “There will be some repercussions…He was always great to bounce something off of, and that will certainly be missed…But it won’t affect the script.”
Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky (‘The Office’ and ‘Bad Teacher’) have been hired on to write, and Director Ivan Retman is back to direct the third film.
