Hot Pockets Recalled For Bad Meat
A favorite snack food is being pulled from store shelves. Hot Pockets have issued a recall on some of its products.
Hot Pocket’s parent company, Rancho Feeding Corporation, is pulling the Philly Steak & Cheese and Croissant Crust Philly Steak & Cheese from shelves due to concern that the meat in the products did not meet inspection standards, according to Time.com. The meat was suspected to the from “diseased and unsound animals.”
A USDA press release reported that some of the products being recalled had been shipped to distribution centers here in Texas as well as California, Washington, Oregon, Florida, and Illinois.
