In a magnificent joint venture, the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas and the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth will celebrate the paintings and sculptures of Dallas artist David Bates. The artist himself will be giving a lecture tomorrow at the Nasher.

This is the first time the two museums have worked together on an exhibit, so this is something you definitely don’t want to miss! Tomorrow at 1PM, artist David Bates will be the featured speaker at the Nasher’s 360 Speaker Series. He’ll talk about his 40-year career and body of work that spans painting and sculpting. Sunday, the David Bates exhibits will open at both museums and run through May 11th.

Saturday’s speaker series at the Nasher starts at 1PM. It’s free with admission or if you’re a member, but you’ll have to RSVP as seating is limited. Reserve your seat and find more information on the Nasher 360 Speaker Series with David Bates at NasherSculptureCenter.org.
