It was announced today that pharmacy retailer CVS will stop carrying tobacco products, including cigarettes, by October 1st. Sighting a desire to become less of a convenient store, and put the focus back on health.
I quit smoking 3 years ago and consider this a smart move for CVS, but it may not turn out to be a good move monetarily. Check out the full story at CBS News, where it is reported that the medical community also thinks this is a groundbreaking step in the right direction for a smoke free America.
