Julie Fisk is here to help. If you’ve need advice or want us to hash out a problem on the air for you, let Julie share some of her wisdom.

Dear Julie,
My husband and I have been married for 5 years. We have a 3 yr old and an 18 month old, I’m a stay at home Mom & I love it. My husband travels a lot for business and a few months ago he told me he was going away for the weekend with some college buddies on a golf trip. That’s fine because I know he needs to blow off steam. The problem is, a bunch of my girlfriends are planning a Girl’s Weekend in February and my husband says I can’t go because he can’t take care of the kids by himself. I don’t think this is fair. I mean, I need a break too! My parents are near-by, so they can help him. He wouldn’t be totally alone, but I think he should be able to feed and bathe our kids. Should I go even if he doesn’t want me to, because I’m sure thinking about it?
Sincerely,
What Happens on a Girl’s Weekend

Dear What Happens on a Girl’s Weekend,

Boy, Tony got VERY fired up about your Shemail! He (and the rest of us) felt that YES you should go on a Girls’ Weekend but more importantly, your husband needs to start getting more involved. Any Dad should be able to do the basics (entertain, feed, bathe & put to bed) so he needs to start figuring it out STAT! You need a break but being involved will also make him a better father. Let us know how your Girls’ Weekend goes!
