Souper Bowl Of Caring
Join 103.7 KVIL for Souper Bowl of Caring. This annual community-wide food drive will take place from Wednesday, January 15th through NFL Super Bowl Sunday, February 2rd, 2014. Schools, churches and local businesses will conduct their own collections while customers can shop at over 200 Albertsons, Kroger, Market Street and Tom Thumb stores across North Texas and purchase a pre-packaged food bag to donate or make a cash donation at the register. 100% of all donations go directly to local hunger-relief agencies, including the North Texas Food Bank and the Tarrant Area Food Bank.
North Texans are encouraged to participate in this campaign of giving and serving to help reach the community goal of raising $1.3 million in food items. 100% of all donations benefit local hunger and poverty relief organizations in North Texas.
Souper Bowl of Caring began as a simple youth group project in South Carolina in 1990 and has grown into a national movement uniting people of all ages and backgrounds to use the time around the Super Bowl to fight hunger and poverty.
