It’s Christmas Eve! Santa has officially begun his worldwide flight delivering presents to the good girls and boys of the world, based of course on the reports of their Elf on the Shelf. Something fun to do today is track where Santa is in the world.

What began as a misprinted ad in a newspaper has now become a beloved tradition for NORAD to track and report Santa’s movements to eager children on Christmas Eve. Modern technology has put the Santa Tracker on the web as NORADSanta.org.

You can see Santa’s flight in real time, watch videos of his visits in major cities around the world, and look a galleries of user-submitted pictures of Santa Sightings and animals dressed up like Santa Paws. There are games to play as well as a library telling Santa’s history and some of the Christmas traditions from around the world.

Check out this video of Santa’s take off from the North Pole!
