Our Santa’s Sparkle Families And Their Stories
We are so happy that today is finally here! What a blessing to bless others with an amazing Christmas especially when they haven’t had the best year. With your help, we’ve been able to not only buy Christmas presents for these families, but we’re also treating them to a day of fun at Sparkle at the Anatole, pampering in the Anatole’s day spa, dinner at one of the restaurants in the Anatole, and a night in one of the Anatole’s awesome suites.
Let’s take a look back at the 5 families that were selected for Santa’s Sparkle:
Buffy Hanson who not only was diagnosed with breast cancer but also discovered that it is terminal, and she fears this could be her last Christmas with her kids.
Baby Hunter Gage was born this year with an intestinal blockage, and his father Trevor has had to take an unpaid leave of absence from work to be with him and stay-at-home-mom Brandi.
Santiago Rodriguez and his brothers have had a tough year losing their mother and baby brother in the floods in Austin. Their grandparents have taken them in as their father remains in Austin.
Cristine Guerra was tragically widowed this year, and she is living with her father while she goes to school in order to get a better job to support her children.
Maria Marquez lost her husband to cancer this year. She and their 6 children will be spending their first Christmas without their loving father.
