Friday night, we all went ice skating at Sparkle at the Anatole. Their outdoor skating rink was real ice. Some of us are not very skilled in skating on ice. Tony, in particular, didn’t fall once, but he played off the times he wobbled with a little boogie in the recovery.
Klyde Warren Park just installed a new outdoor skating rink. Thing is, it’s not really ice. It’s a special plastic that snaps together to form a smooth skating surface. However it’s a little more resistant than ice. The Dallas Observer posted some pictures of kids wiping out in the rink.
