Santa’s Sparkle Nominee: Cristine Guerra
We have received 100s upon 100s of nominations for Santa’s Sparkle. From those nominations, we have chosen 5 families who have met with undue hardship this year to bless with an awesome Christmas at our Santa’s Sparkle event on Friday, December 20th, at the Hilton Anatole.
This morning, we heard Terisa’s nomination, her niece Cristine Guerra and her family. Terisa writes:
Cristine is a young mother (age 26) with 2 children, Cyria (3) and Christopher (6). Cristine is widowed because her husband, Christopher Rodriguez was murdered on 9/13 of this year. Cristine and her children are living with her father but she has no income. She is attending Remington College at night to be a medical technician (which her father pair for) to try to get a good job when she completes the course. She is very depressed over losing her husband and no income and her children miss their father very, very much. She is trying to be strong and very sad. I want to nominate their family for Santa’s Sparkle to bring a little bit of cheer in their life at this time of need. I am Cristine’s aunt.
We gave Cristine a call this morning to surprise her with a Santa’s Sparkle Christmas at the Anatole!
There is still time for you to make a tax-deductible donation to Santa’s Sparkle! We’ll be at the Hilton Anatole on Friday, December 20th to honor recipient families selected to enjoy Christmas At The Anatole and Sparkle, dine at one of the Anatole’s restaurants, receive spa treatments, and spend the night in a suite. Go to SantasSparkle.org to donate and find out more information!
