Blockbuster, as a brick and mortar retail store, is finished. If you are planning on running out and renting one last movie, you’ll be sorely disappointed. Rentals, as confirmed (below) on Blockbuster’s Twitter account, stopped this weekend. Bummer right?

It’s not all bad news though. Let’s be honest, when was the last time you rented a DVD. But, if you’re anything like me, you have scoured a discount bin or two in your day looking for a hidden gem. Just think of your friendly neighborhood Blockbuster store as a GIANT discount bin. I stopped by the Lovers Lane and 75 Blockbuster this weekend and bought a bunch of ‘pre-viewed’ DVDs for $6.99!

When Blockbuster announced it was closing it’s retail stores, one group of guys set out to rent the last DVD from Blockbuster, and the movie they chose was very appropriate. Here is a hint, it stars Seth Rogen…
