“FAA

Good news for Alec Baldwin; he won’t have to switch off his Words With Friends game during take off. The FAA just announced that they are easing restrictions on the use of electronic devices during takeoff and landing.

Under the catagory of “It’s About Time,” the FAA had a group of aviation experts study the affects of electronic devices on airplanes. They determined that it’s okay for us to use our tablets, e-readers, and cellphones (in airplane mode) during takeoff and landing.

Parents are rejoicing, of course, as it means the end to a scramble of trying to keep their children entertained by non-electronic means.

We thought about the stuff we’d like to see banned from flights. Julie would like for the people and children who kick your seat to be kicked off the plane. Tony wants there to be a rule against removing shoes on a flight; the recycled air circulates that foot stink through the whole plane.
