The doctor convicted of manslaughter for Michael Jackson’s death, wants to return to medicine. But the Medical Board of California has shot down down those plans.
According to TMZ, Doctor Conrad Murray says that he would like to practice medicine upon his release from a California prison, in October. He plans on fighting the revoction of his license at that time.
TMZ sources say that the California Medical Board will not be approving his license to practice again.
Murray has been serving a four year sentence, since November of 2011. He is scheduled for an early release, at sometime later this month.
During his trial, Murray had patients that testified on his behalf.
Murray says that if he can’t reclaim his licenses in Texas and California, he may practice out of the country.
Jackson’s mother, Katherine, recently lost a lawsuit against AEG Live, the company that promoted the tour M.J. was about to take on in England.
Jackson died shortly before he was scheduled to head overseas.
