There are bad places to grow your marijuana, and then there are bad places to grow your marijuana. Two Albanian gardeners working in the South Wales town of Merthyr Tydfil (Pronounced: Merther Tidvill) recent found out where the mother of all bad places to build an illegal pot farm is.

The UK’s Mirror reports that two Albanian gardeners had set up a pot farm worth $400,000 in an empty pub within sight of the Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court. Valdet Malluta, 20, and Ajet Gjuzi, 23, were arrested and jailed in the courthouse where they can see their former pot farm from the windows.

Prosecutor Matthew Cobbe said that multiple floors of the abandoned pub had been converted to a marijuana factory with lights, ventilation equipment, and reflective material on the walls.

“Police recovered 1,095 cannabis plants in all in various stages of growth.”

The duo are in the UK illegally and will be deported after serving two years in prison for their crime.
