There are days when emotions are running high and the weight of everything is bearing down on us. Those are the moments when we turn to our favorite movies to pick us up or unleash the waterworks for a good cleansing cry. It’s our go-to, feel-good movies.

This morning, we shared the movies that we go to when we need to have a good cry and get it all out of our system.

Tony’s Feel Good Movie: Field Of Dreams

It’s a movie that he’d watch with his dad. His dad would lose it during this scene, and he would talk about wishing he could have one last catch with his dad.

Julie’s Feel Good Movie: The Color Purple

After a really bad breakup, Julie watched The Color Purple. The scene that gets her is when Celie is reunited with her children.

John’s Feel Good Movie: Rudy

John’s choice is the inspirational cry. The whole movie, Rudy is trying to get approval from his dad, and in this scene, his dad turns around to a stranger and exclaims, “That’s my son!” It gets John pumped and motivated to go do something!
