Brian Cuban - Body Dysmorphic Disorder - Full Audio

Brian Cuban has the same larger than life personality as his brother, Mavs owner Mark Cuban. None would guess that at one time in his life he struggled with Body Dysmorphic Disorder, a disease that gives a person a distorted perception of self-image which leads to depression, addiction, and eating disorders.

When most people think about body image issues, they most frequently think of women and females that have struggled with eating disorders, such as Demi Lovato, as women tend to be more vocal about their struggles. Cuban wants to draw attention to the fact that men equally suffer with body image issues but suffer in silence rather than come forward to seek help.

Cuban has written a book called Shattered Image in which he candidly opens up about his own struggles with Body Dysmorphic Disorder and how it nearly took his life.
