We all have been teased with a game of “Stop Punching Yourself” at some point in our childhood, but an Alaska man was arrested for punching himself in the face… and then blaming his neighbor.
UPI.com reports that 50-year-old Tony Gesin of Fairbanks called 911 and accused his neighbor of assaulting him. He told the same story to state troopers that showed up at his door. However, he soon changed his tune and admitted to punching himself in the face in hopes of getting his neighbor arrested.
Apparently, Gesin and his neighbor have been in a civil dispute over property. Despite his attempt to get his neighbor arrested, Gesin was instead booked on charges of giving a false report.
