Learn About Birds Of Prey With Blackland Prairie Raptor Center

Julie recently attended a presentation by the  Blackland Prairie Raptor Center at her local library and learned how this  local organization helping to rehabilitate and conserve birds of prey as well as educate the public about these wild winged creatures.

Learn about hawks, owls, eagles, falcons, and vultures and even meet a few in person as the BP Raptor Center goes on a tour of local libraries. Find out what birds of prey live in our area and how they fit into the ecosystem.

This Saturday at 2:30PM, the BP Raptor Center will stop by the Irving Central Public Library, located at 801 W. Irving Blvd in Irving. You can find out more information and check out when they’ll be coming around to your area by visiting bpraptorcenter.org.
