Bridal Boutique Accused Of Selling Dirty, Tattered Wedding Dress
Hell hath no fury like a rampaging Bridezilla. A bride in Washington state is on the war path after a bridal boutique allegedly sold her a wedding dress with rips, tears, and stains.
According to UPI.com, Nicole Trombley accuses Amanda’s Bridal Boutique in Redmond, Wash., of trying to sell her a used and dirty wedding gown after she paid $2,000 for new, unused dress. She got a surprise when she peaked in the dress bag a week before her wedding and found the dress had “stains, rips, frays” and pieces missing.
In a surprising twist, the designers of the dress say they haven’t sold any dresses to the boutique in a year, so who really knows how “new” the boutique’s stock really is.
The boutique refunded Trombley’s money and allowed her to take any dress in the store for free for her wedding. Trombley is suing for an undisclosed amount of damages.
Even after all the fuss, the question remains: What happened in that dress?!
