Be careful what you post on Facebook. Two men in Milwaukie, Ore. were cited for stealing a wooden bear statue from a local bar after they posted photos of their shenanigans with the bear on Facebook.

Cory Daniel Harris, 26, and Trevor Modar, 25, were both charged with misdemeanor second-degree theft for taking the statue from the Wichita Pub on Friday. Police were notified after an anonymous person called to report they’d seen photos of the bear on the men’s Facebook profiles.

According to UPI.com, The pub owner Sydney Reeves says the posts were “a really dumb move.” He also recognized Harris as a customer, saying “I’ve served him a billion times.”

Waitress Shelly VanVoorhis jokes that the men must not be very good thieves “because they blasted it all over a social network.”

Even after returning the bear, Harris posted another picture of the bear in the back of a patrol car with the caption, “Ps… Don’t borrow the Witchita (sic) bear.”
