Hot off her first live performance in five years on the season finale of The Voice Monday night, Cher has debuted the official lyric video for her first new single “Woman’s World” off her upcoming album Closer To The Truth.

If the title is any indication, Cher’s upbeat dance number conveys a message all about a woman’s empowerment and moving on after being on the receiving end of a broken heart. The video splashes images of classic ’50s pin-up girls paired with the song’s inspiring lyrics, including, “Torn up, busted, taken apart/I’ve been broken down/Left with a broken heart/But I’m stronger/Strong enough to rise above/This is a woman’s world.”

Cher’s new album Closer To The Truth will be released on September 24 with the possibility of a supporting tour to come as well, the singer told USA Today.
