Who wouldn’t want a celebrity to record their outgoing voicemail message? Imagine how cool it would be for people to call in to your voicemail and be greeted by the recognizable voice of someone famous. There is an actual opportunity for your to get a celebrity to record your voicemail message, but for a price, of course.

Actor and director James Franco is looking to fans to crowd source his next project. According to Huffington Post, it will be a trio of features based on a book of short stories Franco wrote about his hometown, “Palo Alto.” He’s using the website Indiegogo to raise the money with different levels of perks for suggested donations. There are different perks like walk-on roles and set visits, which are all cool in their own super expensive way. However, the one awesome and attainable perk is the 15-second voicemail message recorded by James Franco himself. A $450 donation gets you Franco’s voice as your voicemail message as well as a ton of other goodies in the mail.

We thought about what celebrities we’d like to have on our voicemail messages. Tony would love to have Elton John record a voicemail  set to the tune of his song “Daniel”. Julie would like Morgan Freeman to record her voicemail, but in the style of his character from Shawshank Redemption. We played our dream voicemail messages this morning. Check them out!
