Blood Clot Forces Mumford And Sons To Postpone Dallas Concert Date
A health concern has forced Mumford and Sons to postpone tonight’s concert at Gexa Energy Pavillion as well as concert dates in New Orleans and The Woodlands.
According to an announcement on the Mumford and Sons website, band member Ted Dwane was taken to the hospital yesterday where a blood clot was found on the surface of his brain. He will have to undergo surgery to fix the clot, but treatment and recovery require the band to postpone their tour until Dwane is on the mend.
At this time, only tonight’s show here in Dallas and the subsequent performances in New Orleans and The Woodlands have been affected, and they do not anticipate any other dates being affected. The rescheduled dates will be announced soon, and tickets for tonight’s performance at the Gexa Energy Pavillion will be honored.
