Burger King 1, Dumb Criminals 0.

Jeremy Lovitt, 23, and Gabriel Gonzales, 19, are in jail after a failed attempt at robbing a Burger King in Stockton, California.

According to the Huffington Post, the duo held up the fast food restaurant at around 9:45PM. The manager and another employee emptied the registers at gunpoint while a third employee snuck out of a back door. The employee noticed a car left running in the parking lot and guessed that it was the suspects’ getaway car. He cleverly drove the car around the corner and hid it from the criminals.

Lovitt and Gonzales were surprised when they found their car was gone, and they attempted to flee on foot. They were nabbed by the police and booked into the San Joaquin County Jail.
