Who knew singing at a gas pump would get you on national television? A California couple who got caught up in a gas pump camera prank on the Tonight Show so impressed Jay Leno with their singing that he invited them to come on his show.
Will and his wife Monifa had pulled in to get gas at a pump where the Tonight Show had planted a camera behind a screen. The “Pumpcast News” anchor breaks from his news report to interact with the surprised couple whom he asks to sing for free gas. Will belts out Bon Jovi’s “Living on a Prayer” while his wife cracks up in the car. Monifa is then asked to get out the car and sing along with the Eurhythmics’ “Sweet Dreams.”
Their singing impressed Jay Leno, and he invited them on the Tonight Show to sing with the Tonight Show band. The videos of this couple will totally make you day!
