The Rangers Ballpark is opening up the outfield for a fantastic opportunity. Grab a sleeping bag and campout in the outfield grass to watch the Rangers play the Astros in Houston and a special screening of The Sandlot on the jumbotron then sleep under the stars right inside the ballpark during the Rangers’ 2013 Fan Sleepover!

It’s the ultimate baseball fan experience. Not only do you get to roam the ballpark and camp out on the field overnight but you also get to watch the Rangers game AND the 20th anniversary of a classic baseball movie, The Sandlot, on the big screen! Fox Sports Southwest and Rangers Ballpark are co-hosting this awesome event on Saturday night, May 11th. There will also be a meet-and-greet with The Sandlot‘s director David Mickey Evans as well as Chauncey Leopardi (Michael “Squints” Palledorous) and Patrick Renna (Hamilton “Ham” Porter).

The Fan Sleepover event is $20 for kids and $30 for adults. You’re allowed to bring sleeping bags and mats to lay on, but that’s pretty much it. Get your tickets and find more information at texasrangers.com.
