Michael Buble’s singing ability was first noticed at age 13, while traveling in the car with his family, singing along to “White Christmas.” He eventually was asked to sing at the wedding of the daughter of Canada’s Prime Minister. There, he met legendary music producer David Foster. Foster was impressed, but didn’t want to sign Buble because “he didn’t know how to market that kind of music.” Eventually he relented, and 3 Grammys and several Juno Awards later, Michael has sold over 30 million records. This huge hockey fan has a clause in his concert rider requesting “one local team hockey puck” for his dressing room. His new album, “To Be Loved,” drops next week, and the single “It’s a Beautiful Day” is climbing the charts. He’ll be making a concert tour stop later this Summer in North Texas.
