In preparation for her upcoming “Mrs. Carter” tour Beyonce has cut all liquid, aside from water, from her diet. Along with liquid the singer has nixed rice, pasta and red meat from her diet.
Beyonce has been trying to get back in shape after gaining 57 pounds while pregnant with her baby Blue Ivy.
MSN is reporting that the elimination of liquids is helping keep her calorie count down but she is still eating 3 square meals a day. “I just try to keep my diet balanced. I always have breakfast — say, scrambled egg whites, a vegetable smoothie, or wholegrain cereal with low-fat milk,” Beyonce told Shape magazine. “For lunch and dinner I eat a lot of fish and vegetables.”
And she admits to having a few cheat days here and there.
“Even when I’m being strict, though, I always treat myself to one meal on Sundays when I can have whatever I want. Usually it’s pizza, which is my favourite indulgence.”
