Graciela Guadalupe Ayala had a warrant out of her arrest in Kings County, California. Deciding to spend her last day of freedom having “one last beer,” she and a friend had shenanigans and a high-speed chase a la Thelma & Louise.

Ayala and a friend stopped at a convenience store in Reedley. The unnamed friend dashed into the store and pilfered a 6-pack of beer and ran back into the waiting vehicle, a pink Crown Victoria. A security guard gave chase and reported the conspicuous vehicle to Reedley Police.

A high-speed chase ensued with Ayala leading the cops. The chase ended at the front door of the Kings County Jail, where she willingly surrendered to authorities.
