A recent study has found that the pages you like on Facebook could reveal a lot more than the shows you watch on TV or the music you listen to. What it could reveal may surprise you.
Cambridge University researcher David Stillwell, who was one of the authors of the study, says that by analyzing the “likes” of 58,000 Facebook users they were able to make guesses about users’ gender, age, ethnicity, IQ, political affiliations, sexual orientation, marital status, personalities, and some social behaviors.
According to Huffingpost Post, men who liked the TV show “Glee” were more likely to be gay and men who like professional wrestling were more likely to be straight. People who liked Jennifer Lopez generally had more friends than those who listen to Iron Maiden.
More importantly, people who like 103.7 Lite FM on Facebook were found to be brilliant, totally awesome, and have exceptionally good taste!
