A man and woman were arrested in Pennsylvania after a police chase that started in New Jersey and involved the theft of two police cruisers. The suspects, 23-year-old Shayna Sykes and 24-year-old Blake Bills, hopped into a police cruiser that had another vehicle pulled over for a traffic violation in Camden, NJ just before 10AM Tuesday morning.

Officer Sekou Reid-Bey was struck by the police cruiser as he tried to step out to stop the daring duo. Sykes and Bills led a police chase across the Ben Franklin Bridge and into Philadelphia. Philly cops were able to stop the vehicle and arrest Bills, but Sykes hopped into another police car and sped off.

The chase continued through Philadelphia, over sidewalks and narrow alleyways, until the vehicle driven by Sykes came to a stop. She then attempted to flee on foot, but she was finally apprehended.

According to CBS Philly, the pair have lengthy criminal records including burglary, DUIs, and suspended licenses. They will face charges¬†that will include resisting arrest, DUI, and “risking catastrophe.”
