A slip of the tongue may have just spoiled the secret on the sex of the Royal Baby.
The Duchess of Cambridge was making an appearance in the English seaside town of Grimsby. As she was accepting gifts from well-wishers, she was given a teddy bear by a local resident. The Duchess responded with, “Thank you, I’ll take that for my d–” and cut herself off mid-sentence.
Was she going to say “daughter”?
According to E! Online, Sandra Cook, a Grimsby resident, was standing nearby and overheard Kate’s slip and inquired if she was about to say “daughter,” but the Duchess remained coy and simply replied, “We’re not telling.”
While very few details have been released about the Royal Baby, the only information that the palace has released is that the bundle of royal joy is expected to be born in July. Only time will tell if the baby is indeed a girl.
