A man in Georgia stole a Krispy Kreme donut truck from a gas station and lead police on a chase through Gwinnett County, northeast of Atlanta.

Police say 45-year-old James Freddy Major swiped the Krispy Kreme truck from a gas station around 10:45PM as the driver was making a delivery. Major lead the cops on a chase that ran several red lights, left the road several times, and ended when the donut truck hit a mailbox.

The donut truck thief attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended by a K9 dog. Officers at the scene arrested the man, presumably after making sure the donut cargo was safe and undamaged.
