It’s one of those crazy stories that will make you shake your head.
A woman and her two children found a lost wallet at a Kohl’s in Fayetteville, GA. Rather than providing a good example for her children of the right thing to do and take it to the store’s lost and found, just a few feet away, she opens the wallet and deals out the $100 in cash in the wallet to her two children.
The wallet’s owner, Joseph Smith, a seminary student, returned to the Kohl’s where he had been shopping with his wife and child the night before. When he inquired about his lost wallet, a review of security footage revealed the woman going through his wallet just inside the store’s doors and in full view of security cameras.
Smith is hoping that anyone recognizing the woman will come forward to police.
