Loretta Lacy was in a hurry to get across 2 states in order to make her granddaughter’s middle school dance recital. Lacy was pulled over 4 times as she sped down the highways between her home in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Racine, Wisconsin.

The 49-year-old grandmother got her first ticket at 2:30PM just outside of Jackson, Minn. She was clocked at 112MPH and received a ticket for speeding, no insurance, and possession of marijuana.

She got stopped again 20 miles down the road, and after stop, an alert was issued for state troopers in Minnesota and Wisconsin to keep an eye out for her.

Her third stop came just an hour later for driving 88MPH, and her fourth ticket for the same speed came at 5PM.

Despite her efforts to drive at a speed that would activate the flux capacitor in a time-travelling Delorean, Lacy did not make it in time to see her granddaughter’s recital.

Maybe next time she’ll take a plane.
