Texas International Theatrical Arts Society, or TITAS,  is presenting a real treat this weekend at the Winspear Opera House. The Joffrey Ballet, a legendary ballet company, will be performing the “Rite of Spring” as a celebration of the 100th anniversary of Vaslav Nijinsky’s choreography.

The Joffrey Ballet is known as  “America’s Company of Firsts.” They are the first ballet company to perform at the White House, the first American ballet company to visit Russia, the first to appear on TV, the first and only to appear on the cover of Time Magazine, and the first to commission a rock’n’roll ballet; that is just a few of their milestones!

You don’t want to miss this amazing performance. You can catch Joffrey Ballet’s “Rite of Spring” on Friday and Saturday at 8PM. Tickets run for $12 to $125. You can purchase tickets and find more information by visiting attpac.org.
