There are not many people who would take offense to being mistaken as being younger than one’s true age, but there are extremes that can get a little embarrassing as Harry Potter actress Emma Watson found out over the Christmas holiday.

The 22-year old actress was stopped by a customs official who thought she was too young to fly alone. According to Watson’s tweets about the ordeal, the passport control officer asked if she was an unaccompanied minor and where her guardian was.

The actress adds that it would be the last time she wears a backpack while traveling.

While many of us can relate to and are often flattered by being mistaken for a younger age, no one enjoys being mistaken for a child. Perhaps the customs agent still views the actress who grew up playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films as a very young lady.

Watson brushed off the incident with humor and added that it wasn’t the first time. With her youthful beauty, we can be it won’t be the last.
